Spring 2010 Schedule

The practices will start Saturday, April 10th.  Coaches will call the players to confirm their practice time.

Saturday Practices:

Coaches and players will have access to a trainer from Jersey Elite Sports Academy every Saturday! http://www.jesausa.com/home.php

D5 will be at Francis A. Desmares School from 8:30-10:00am or 10:30-12:00pm (Teams will be assigned to practice sessions.)

D4 will be at JP Case Middle School at 8:30-10:00am

D3 will be at JP Case Middle School from 10:30-12:00pm

D2 will be at JP Case Middle School from 10:30-12:00pm

All players need to wear shin guards (under soccer socks), athletic shorts (no jeans or cutoffs), and SOCCER cleats.  DON’T FORGET TO BRING WATER!

Soccer Cleats vs. Baseball Cleats

Soccer cleats do not have a cleat on the front toe of the shoe. This is important in that if a child raises their foot to kick a ball, there is no front toe cleat that might hurt another child.  PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD'S CLEATS!!!

IMPORTANT:  If your child wears glasses, NJ State law mandates that only approved eyewear (rec-specs or contacts) may be worn during athletic activities.

Sunday Games:

Games are scheduled for 1:00, 2:30, or 4:00pm.  (Schedule TBA)

GFSC Recreation Soccer Teams play in the Hunterdon County Recreational Soccer League.  We play other coed teams from Alexandria, Holland Township, Kingwood, Readington, Delaware Township, South County, and Union Township!

All players will be given a soccer uniform consisting of a shirt, shorts, and socks.

Volunteers

All parents are invited to help this season as a coach, assistant coach, or team manager.
