Orlando, Florida, January 2009 – Our own U-13 Boys’ team, the Fury, captured the Disney “KICK-IT” 3 v. 3 Division World Soccer Championship in Orlando after 3 days of grueling competition. Between January 16, and 19, the Fury went undefeated through the 3 days in their age group advancing through the Qualifiers, Semi-Finals, and then Finals. Coach Gary Hazard’s team was trained by Mick Smith, owner of Far Post Soccer for the event. The Disney Kick-It event is host to over a 1,000 teams annually ranging from 8 to 40 years of age.
