A NEW HOME IN THE WORKS FOR G.F.S.C.
Those driving on Clover Hill Road can view the new sign marking the future home of the Greater Flemington Soccer Club Soccer facility located on a vast parcel of undeveloped land. Three soccer fields will be constructed on the site, along with a public recreation area. Township leaders and the GFSC Board are commended for their work and foresight to club soccer.
Growing Pains
The number of travel teams this Spring is up to 29, raging from U-8 to U-19, boys and girls. This is good news overall, but the additional travel teams on top of our exisiting independent recreation program and demand by other organizations for fields, as well as field closures by the Township for maintenance, has created some serious growing pains for GFSC.

Thank you Board of Education, Again!
Once again, athletes can experience home games on the turf field at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. The Board of Education, the Athletic Director's Office, and all who work so hard to make this happen are acknowledged for their efforts. Again, a special thanks to John Carbone and Joy Burns for their coordination and efforts.

In the excitement of a game, sometimes we lose sight of why our children participate in sports in the first place: to be with friends and develop in body, mind, and spirit. We see young referees become discouraged and quit when parents or coaches yell at them. We see confusion when children are directed from the parent-side of the field in spite of able coaching from the other side.

GFSC to Attend USA vs. Argentina Soccer Match on June 8
GFSC will be part of the crowd when some of the best soccer in the NY-NJ metro area comes to Giants Stadium on June 8. 110 Members of our GFSC family signed up for game tickets and have overtaken one entire mezzanine section in covered, premium, seating. If you're there, look for our huge GFSC banner which will dorn the tail gate party that will be talk-of-the-town.

The Greater Flemington Soccer Club is the largest independent soccer club in Central New Jersey. As a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, it promotes and fosters the game of soccer to boys and girls ages 5 to 19 primarily residing in Flemington Borough and Raritan Township.

Important Notice Regarding Parking at Lenape Park Fields
Please note and tell your opponents that parking along the curb is prohibited at Lenape Park. We have been advised that the Raritan Township Police Department will ticket cars and have them towed if parked along the curb. Please arrive early and try to car-pool when possible.
